Ventrolla sash window specialists given full marks in window maintenance for schools and educational establishments.

Ventrolla, the market leaders in sash window renovation and maintenance, are receiving full marks from schools for their specialist service, which can significantly extend the life of existing windows. The national sash window company has won a significant number of contracts in the education sector, with their expertise increasingly in demand amongst schools and colleges throughout the UK.

Ventrolla’s service to renovate, maintain and improve original sash windows has been supplied in prestigious commercial properties and domestic period homes for 20 years. With many schools, colleges and universities being based in traditional buildings, Ventrolla’s service is gaining recognition for the benefits it can create in terms of extending the life of existing windows, and improving energy efficiency and noise reduction, whilst retaining the original style of the windows.

Projects with which Ventrolla has been involved include Downs Junior School, Queen’s Park Primary School in Brighton, the American Community College in Egham, Wycombe Abbey School, St Bernard’s Convent in Slough, the City of London Freeman’s School in Ashted, Coventry Preparatory School, Claremont Primary School in Nottingham and Spratton Hall School in Northampton. In addition to its work at schools, Ventrolla has renovated the windows of several of the colleges at Oxford University and Leeds Metropolitan School of Languages.

At Spratton Hall School, where Ventrolla Midlands has recently been involved in upgrading approximately 50 traditional sash windows, the Bursar commented: “We chose Ventrolla because they were recommended to us, and offered the best overall value for the project. Spratton Hall is a Grade II listed building with very old windows, which we chose not to replace. Ventrolla repaired and upgraded the windows from an extremely dilapidated state. On completion of their work, we are pleased with the end result and can already see improvements, with the most immediate benefit being that we can easily open and close the windows.”
