Pella Products To Appear On New HGTV Series

A new Home and Garden Television (HGTV) series will feature products manufactured and donated by Pella Corporation. Pella products will appear on the cable television program, "I Want That!," which showcases trend-setting "must have" products for the home.

The episode is expected to air nationally on Sunday, May 8, at 3:30 p.m. eastern/2:30 p.m. (central time) on HGTV. The show will feature Vivid View™ screens on Architect Series® windows installed on a Pella customer’s restored historic home. The segment with the Pella products was filmed near Washington, D.C.

"Pella is honored that HGTV designers chose to highlight Pella windows and virtually invisible Vivid View screens for this new series," said Kathy Krafka Harkema, Pella Corporation spokesperson. "Our quality Pella windows and innovative new screens are a perfect fit for a show focusing on the latest trends for new construction projects and newly renovated homes."

Pella’s revolutionary new Vivid View screen is available on Pella wood window products, including ProLine®, Designer Series® and Architect Series®. Pella Vivid View screens offer a great view from inside and outside the home and three times the airflow of a traditional screen. The new screens, which allow 50 percent more light into the room, are made with a patent-pending transparent screen fabric developed by W.L. Gore & Associates, Inc.

The Pella® Window & Door Store(SM) team in the Washington, D.C., area was instrumental in supporting Pella’s efforts with the "I Want That!" show.
