Integrity Windows Design – Pressure Upgrades Design

Integrity Windows and Doors, leading manufacturers in the window manufacturing industry, has significantly increased the designs pressure ratings on two key window products lines - Integrity Double Hungs and Integrity Casements - offering builders windows with enhanced air, water and structural performance. The raised Integrity Windows Design pressures are proof of Integrity's commitment to providing high quality window products that are built to perform.

The Double Hung window product line from Integrity comes with two major designs pressure rating changes. Modifications to Integrity's Double Hung window tilt latch which now pulls the sash even more tightly towards the jamb enhances the window performance rating. The majority of Integrity's Double Hung windows now exceed a structural design pressure 40 rating, with most windows above a design pressure 45, and many Integrity windows designs reaching a design pressure 50 rating. Integrity’s field-applied, high performance upgrade kit increases the Integrity Double Hung windows’ water performance to a design pressure 50 rating. This kit is particularly useful for windows in coastal applications where mandatory water performance standards exist in building codes. The kit contains a wood sill liner that adds one-inch of height to the sill of all double hung operator window units, and a one- and one-quarter-inch of height to all double hung transom and picture window units.

The designs pressure ratings on more than 90 per cent of Integrity's Casement windows product line - including operators, transoms, awnings and picture units - have been upgraded to a design pressure 50 rating.

These design pressure enhancements make it easier for builders to conform to stringent and demanding new building codes. More than ever before, builders, home owners, interior designers and architects are relying on Integrity’s window solutions for the constantly changing trends in window requirements.
