Aluminum Frame Windows – Standing The Test Of Time

Because not all homeowners consider the same features when choosing windows and doors, Kolbe & Kolbe has expanded their product offering to include Ultra Series products, a line of extruded aluminum frame windows and doors.

Kolbe & Kolbe’s Ultra Series will be available in casements, awnings, double hungs and sliders as well as swinging and sliding patio doors. For the ultimate in strength and durability without sacrificing the beauty of wood, most of the product line will have a .050-inch thick extruded aluminum frame with a heavy-gauge, 5052 alloy roll-formed aluminum clad sash, while a few of the products will have extruded aluminum on both the sash and frame exterior. And, the exterior finish meets the new performance requirements of AAMA 2605-98.

As standard, Kolbe & Kolbe Ultra Series windows and doors will be available in 22 standard colors. In addition, extruded aluminum snap-on brickmould and other trim accessories will be available for factory or field application. Also see; replacement windows.
