December 17, 2003 By: Mary Kyra Replacement Window Installation – Dramatic And UniqueSuperseal's Series 1600 and Series 1650 Casement and Awning windows can be used alone or in any combination with other units allowing you to create a dramatic and unique look to any interior. Multi-chambered construction traps air within the frames and sashes, while finseal weatherstripping assures an effective barrier to air and water penetration. High quality Roto-PRO hardware on the casement window prevents sagging, smoothly opens the operating sash to a full 90 degrees, allowing for maximum ventilation and ease of cleaning from inside. Series 1600 Replacement Window features a rugged 3 1/4" frame equipped with head and sill expanders. The Series 1650 New Construction Window features a 2 3/4" frame designed with an integral star-punched nailing fin and J-Channel. Each window comes with Intercept "warm-edge" spacers between two panes of glass that are used to create each 3/4" thick glass panel, creating an effective thermal barrier which reduces energy costs. A multi-point locking system is in place to ensure the utmost security. As far as cosmetic appeal, multiple units are made with a continuous head and sill, hinges are concealed and all components are corrosion resistant. Exceptional features include a width of up to 36", meeting a 5.7 square foot Egress; three color choices available (white, beige, brown), with coordinating shapes, transoms, picture windows and grids. Finally, a C-65 commercial rating makes these windows an excellent choice for residential and light commercial projects, giving you versatility in all you do.
