This unique window design was developed by Rehau Incorporated to address the need for a high performance acoustic window. Silver Line will be the exclusive manufacturer of this window line in almost all of the United States. Specifically engineered to significantly reduce sound transmission, the Series 3400 meets or exceeds all standards set by the American Architectural Manufacturers Association for sound transmission (AAMA 1801-97).

The quad sash design, when combined with multi-chambered, fusion welded vinyl construction assures a product of exceptional durability, superior acoustic integrity and excellent thermal performance. STC ratings of 42 to 45 have been achieved with this product, depending on the glazing option.
